Booking.com Users Targeted By Hackers

╰┈➤ Hackers are targeting users of Booking[dot]com by tricking hotel staff into installing harmful software. 

╰┈➤ This ongoing scam, is in operation since March.

╰┈➤ It involves cyber-criminals seeking hotel login details on secret forums, willing to pay up to $2,000.

╰┈➤ Although Booking[dot]com itself hasn't been hacked, the attackers exploit vulnerabilities in individual hotels linked to the website. 

╰┈➤ The hackers impersonate former guests, sending emails with harmful links to hotel staff, enabling access to Booking[dot]com on the hotel's systems.

╰┈➤ Once in, they contact customers, tricking them into paying money directly to the hackers instead of the hotel. 

╰┈➤ Booking[dot]com is aware of the issue, taking steps to secure systems and assist affected customers.
